Cymru Wales, is seen as an all round winner at ProPaint’s recent charity
golf day held at St.Melyd’s Golf Course, Prestatyn.

fundraiser Mike Cleary based in Rhyl said:
“We
are not just pleased,we are ecstatic. This means well over 100 more children
in the area will be able to make that vital call to us. It could be a matter
of life and death. This is the first ProPaint Trophy and Childline are winners
all round. So many top local businesses took part they are now much closer to
what we do and we hope will support us in future”.
Peter
Lessiter of ProPaint in Rhyl, who has just merged his company with Ralph Durber,
formerly of Durber and Evans of Prestatyn said:
“ We
wanted to make the new ProPaint Trophy mean something to the community as well
as commercially. Our first golf day is the seal of approval on the merger and
we wanted to celebrate with clients whilst also giving something back”.
Friends
through playing golf, which brought them together from the start, Peter Lessiter
and Ralph Durber invited their customers to play in a gala charity golf day to
raise funds for the Rhyl branch of the national charity Childline.
Major
builders in North Wales, Watkins Jones Construction are now holders of the new
ProPaint Trophy for one year, with runners up electrical contractors, G.K Evans
of Prestatyn and Rhyl Finance Company, DW. Williams.
